Tell us about the concert, social occasion, celebration, or cultural activity you have in mind. We can discuss how much company you want, from an easy conversation beforehand to sharing the event itself. Attendance is subject to availability, venue rules, and individual approval.
The invitation

The client covers both people’s pre-agreed admission and activity expenses. Please wait until availability and the plan are agreed before buying a companion’s ticket. Tickets, parking, or additional travel costs are separate from the hourly fee and discussed in advance.

Companionship is $50 per hour, with no fixed event package or required outing length. We’ll reply personally within 24 hours, introduce your companion privately, and agree on timing and costs before payment. An inquiry alone does not reserve the date.

Can Plus One help me find a friend in Salt Lake City?+
If you’re looking for someone to share a little time with, Plus One offers a paid, strictly platonic companionship service. You can arrange company for a specific occasion or an ordinary afternoon. It is not a friendship-matching app or a promise of an ongoing personal friendship. We’ll introduce your companion privately so you can ask questions and decide whether the experience feels right.

Suggest a café, restaurant, park, neighborhood, or event in Salt Lake City. Downtown and Sugar House are possible starting points for a plan; the exact meeting place, availability, accessibility needs, and any travel costs are agreed individually before payment. First meetings are generally public.
How much does a companion in Salt Lake City cost?+
Companionship is $50 per hour, with the duration chosen by you and agreed together before payment. There is no fixed outing length. Pre-agreed meals, admission, activity expenses, and any travel costs are separate.
Can we simply spend time together without an activity?+
Absolutely. Read side by side, share a quiet coffee, sit in a park, or enjoy a calm afternoon. There’s no need to entertain each other or fill every silence. The same strictly platonic boundaries and location approval apply; first meetings are generally public.
Is this a dating service?+
No. Plus One offers strictly platonic social companionship only. No romantic, sexual, or physical-intimacy services.
Meeting Locations & Experiences+
Plus One experiences may take place at restaurants, cafés, cultural attractions, events, private gatherings, and other mutually agreed-upon locations.
First-time meetings are generally arranged in public settings. Private locations and extended or overnight experiences may be considered individually, subject to advance approval, clear expectations, and appropriate safety arrangements.
All experiences remain strictly platonic, regardless of location or duration.
Salt Lake City travel arrangements and any additional costs are agreed before payment. Austin’s included-travel radius does not apply to the Salt Lake pilot.
What expenses are included?+
Your hourly fee covers companionship. The client covers their own and the companion's pre-agreed admission, meals, and activity expenses, ideally paid directly at the venue. Additional costs are agreed before payment.
Can I book for any activity?+
Each request is reviewed individually. We decline unsafe, deceptive, illegal, or out-of-scope activities. We don't provide caregiving, childcare, security, counseling, or medical services. Adults 21+ only.
How does booking work?+
After you inquire, we’ll reply personally by email within 24 hours, share more about your companion, and talk through what would feel comfortable. You can ask questions and decide whether it’s a good fit before agreeing to a plan or making any payment. When you’re ready, we’ll agree on availability, location, duration, and the total before sending a secure payment link. Austin currently accepts future interest only.
How is my privacy handled?+
Your privacy matters here, too. We use your contact details and inquiry to reply and coordinate your experience. We don’t sell your information or publish your name, photos, or experience without your permission.
Inquiries are stored in our private booking system. The people handling your inquiry and booking, along with the service providers needed for booking, email, and payment, may process the information necessary to provide those services. Our page-visit analytics does not record your contact details or message.
What if my plans change?+
Cancel at least 24 hours ahead for a full service-fee refund; 12–24 hours for a 50% refund; less than 12 hours is nonrefundable. One complimentary reschedule with at least 24 hours' notice is subject to availability. If Plus One cancels, the service fee is fully refunded. Separately purchased tickets and incidentals follow the supplier's terms. Use your booking confirmation to request changes.
